Katie McBrearty-Shields, L.Ac., was born and raised on a small farm in south Austin. She has been in practice since 2003 after receiving her Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to help others, and enjoys seeing others' health improve as a result of acupuncture. She has joined the staff at Hausman Chiropractic & Acupuncture to continue to grow and accept new patients. A majority of her clients thus far have come from referrals, which helps her know that she is doing something right. She is always flattered and grateful when a patient has been so pleased with results that they urge others to come in and try acupuncture.
